Type of Artist:
AuthorI typically run ‘how I became an author’ inspirational talks, short readings, Q&As – plenty of interaction with the children. Workshops are more practical and typically for Emily Knight we brainstorm superpowers and talk through a battle scene (it can get noisy and is lots of fun). For The Very Merry Murder Club, we play a game of ‘who-done-it’ based on characters from my story.
Prefer children aged 7 -14 for my middle grade books mentioned above and 13+ for my YA book (out 2022).
