Ally Sherrick is an award-winning children’s author specialising in historical fiction for KS2 & 3. Her books include the upcoming THE QUEENS FOOL set in Tudor England, THE BURIED CROWN, a World War Two-set tale of two brave children who get caught up in a Nazi plot to steal an item of priceless Anglo-Saxon treasure, and BLACK POWDER, which tells the story of young Catholic boy, Tom’s desperate race to save his father from the hangman’s noose against the backdrop of the infamous Gunpowder Plot.
