Ian Beck is the author and illustrator of over 100 books for children. He’s illustrated picture books for the very young, and more recently written books for middle grade and older students. Titles include THE TEDDY ROBBER, FIVE LITTLE DUCKS, TOM TRUEHEART, THE HIDDEN KINGDOM and PASTWORLD. Ian can also talk to older students about careers in Art and the opportunities open to those who choose to study it at university.

I have extensive (50 years) experience in illustrating and writing both for younger and older readers. I am happy to talk through all aspects of making books, writing stories and how they develop, as well as the adding of illustrations and how these add to the story.
