"..As an inner city secondary school, we are always looking for ways to inspire and engage our students with reading and writing, and JP Rose delivered beyond our expectations. Her visit was not just a talk—it was an unforgettable experience that captivated our students and left them buzzing with excitement about reading and writing their own stories. She went above and beyond to record a video for our students which made them feel valued and important. In an increasingly disconnected world, JP made our pupils feel connected to the power of their own voice, and like their stories deserved to be told. She is a natural speaker who commands the ears of the crowd whilst remaining friendly and relatable for young people. I highly recommend JP Rose for any school looking to ignite a passion for reading, storytelling and the power of representation in their students."

"JP came to Meadlands and delivered an informative and captivating session to our Year 5 class. The children were hooked from the start and really keen to learn more about "Birdie" after they heard the premise of the story and looked at the beautiful cover art. In the session, the children heard JP read some of the story, discussed the historical context and designed their own covers, as well as getting to ask JP all their questions about being an author. It was really inspiring for the children to meet a real author and understand the process behind writing a book. Many of the children came away from the session desperate to read Birdie and also inspired to write some stories of their own."
