I’m most well-known for the Jane Blondes, and hope to have further news on those in due course.
I have two new books for teens, FANMAIL and PINEAPPLE. PINAEAPPLE is currently available as an audio book as well as print and ebook, and FANMAIL will be available early June as audio (already out in print/ebook).
PINEAPPLE was written for the WW1 centenary and I’m promoting it for World Peace Day in September.
FANMAIL is great fun in ‘Girl Online’ vein, and even includes two original boyband songs which have been recorded and incorporated into the audio book.
We thoroughly enjoyed Jill’s visit and wouldn’t hesitate to invite Jill back in to school. Her passion for reading and writing shone through and allowed both the staff and pupils to experience a memorable World Book Day.

I have known Jill Marshall for many years in my capacity as School Libraries Consultant for Tameside Metropolitan Borough.I first encountered Jill when I reviewed the first of her Jane Blonde books. The strong female character was a positive role model for the children I worked with. The visits were a great success. She could work with small or large groups. The interaction was good, she kept their interest, and the sessions were lively. She also spoke with teachers, which inspired them in their work on creative writing.
