The event was great – you could have heard a pin drop whilst Mike read an extract from the book, and all of the children would have happily sat there for hours asking questions.
Hannah Rowe, Felixstowe Book Festival
Mike's relaxed and friendly approach won over the pupils and he was overwhelmed with their enthusiasm during the first part of the workshop when they were discussing their ideas for the stories they were going to write. The creation of a new 'creature' was a great hit with all, and as Mike moved on to how to structure the story, pupils became more focused on their story and they started to write. Mike's session ended with lots of thanks from the pupils. It was a great session. All pupils really enjoyed Mike's visit and we look forward to seeing him again soon.
