These can be traditional storytelling, poetry, or ‘tasters’ of contemporary fiction – or a mix of these elements.
Can also do entertaining book talks for parents, and INSET for teachers

Preferred age range:Any age. I have worked with nursery-age children, upper secondary students, and anything in between!
Adult audiences are possible too.
No of sessions per day:
Preferably four sessions at most, though could be more in a primary school (e.g. if 20 minute sessions for Nursery are part of the day).
Session Length:
Roughly 20-30 minutes for Early Years, 30-40 minutes for mid-Primary, and 45-60 minutes for top Primary or Secondary.
Areas prepared to travel to:
Anywhere in the UK and beyond (my furthest gig was Yokohama!).
Unless a visit begins mid-morning, overnight expenses will probably be necessary if more than 90 minutes’ travelling from home (near Halifax, Yorkshire) is involved.
Transport:
Car travel would be at 40p per mile. Rail travel is often preferred, and can be cheaper (especially if lifts are offered, rather than taxis)
