Full day sessions – Assembly and 4 x One hour sessions
Assembly – 15 -20 minutes reading poetry and Q&A
Sessions – creative one hour sessions involve reading poetry at the beginning of the session and talking about the inspirations behind each poem.
Leading to a workshop on writing poetry using techniques and prompts that Alex uses to write his own poems. Alex will engage with the students throughout, inspiring and encouraging a love of language and performance. Students will have the chance to read/perform their poetry at the end of the session.
Primary KS2 for workshops reflecting Daydreams and Jellybeans.
Any age for reading/performance poetry.
Workshops can be tailored for comprehensive students.
Up to 30 students for workshops.
4 Sessions i.e Years 3,4,5 and 6 (hour sessions)
Sessions are usually one hour. However, longer sessions (for fewer classes) can be arranged prior to visit.
Based in South Wales, willing to travel anywhere.
If necessary, Overnight accommodation would need to be covered.
