Type of Artist:
For KS1 I do readings with art activities and small drama workshops acting out the stories.
For KS2 I do readings with collective story writing or story maps depending on time available. I am also planning to do some illustration workshops but have yet to devise them.
My books range from Reception (5yrs) to Years 4 and 5.
30 children (ie. one class) would be preferred but with staff support I can do two classes (60 children). Because of the ages I work with I avoid too much talking and prefer to engage the children in an activity.
2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon would be fine.
60 minutes for reading, chat and activity, followed by book signing.
The South West is my area – but anywhere in the South if travel and overnight accommodation is paid for
Train for longer distances or car @ 50pence per mile.

Angie is a lovely person to work with, very enthusiastic with excellent organisational skills. She has a very friendly persona that is able to inspire a whole class of children to become writers and illustrators as well as encouraging them to keep on reading.
Angie is brilliant with children and adults. Well prepared. Her professional enthusiasm shines.
