The inimitable Guy Bass is the award-winning author of a huge variety of series for KS2 pupils. Titles include the SKELETON KEYS books, DINKIN DINS, STITCH HEAD, SPYNOSAUR and ATOMIC. Guy’s virtual sessions will be sure to demonstrate how much fun books and reading can be for all students – even if they are not keen readers.

What I can do for you
Guy’s online event is a fast-paced combination of stand-up (well, sit down), stories and silliness. His performance explores his childhood aspirations and inspirations and includes poetry, writing tips, on-screen pictures and artwork and animated readings from his books. Plus, he’ll share work-in-progress writing, notes, doodles and whatever else he has lying around!
Guy has been entertaining and inspiring children in schools, libraries and book festivals since 2008. His energetic, interactive performances are designed to generate excitement about books, build confidence in reading and writing, and spread a lot of laughter.
