Karen McCombie | Author

Karen McCombie is an author whose online sessions for primary and secondary aged students take the form of presentations with time for Q&As (30 mins), plus student writing critiques offered in longer sessions (60 mins). Her recent books LITTLE BIRD FLIES and LITTLE BIRD LANDS follow Bridie as she leaves her remote Scottish Island and sets off for a new life in America in the 19th Century and have won much critical acclaim. Her younger, funny series ST GRIZZLE’S SCHOOL has generated great spin-off writing sessions from students.
