What I can do for you
I like to give readings, talks and workshops. For instance, I have a one hour session involving a talk about How Stories Work, with several short writing exercises within it. It’s fun, engaging and challenging. I’m also very happy to run a workshop lasting one or two hours, focusing for instance on Structure or developing Character. I’ll use discussion, examples, props and prompts, and by the end of the workshop the students will have started writing their own story. The talk is ideal for Years 7 and 8, the workshops can be adapted for any age from Year 7 to adult.
