Students will meet Simon Lamb, who will share an engaging, whistle-stop tour of his life so far: the unexpected journey of how he became a poet and why he loves poetry.
Poetry Reading
Students will hear Simon reading from his debut poetry collection, coupled with insights into the poet’s mind and how students might go about capturing poems of their own.
Q&A
Students will have the opportunity to ask Simon questions about poetry, books, his life — anything. (He’s even, on occasion, been asked his favourite cheese. Which is brie, by the way.)
