I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic day. You really made our library grand opening come alive. I have had such positive feedback from the children and the staff regarding your sessions with them. Being in classes over the last couple of days, I have seen children reading your books and hearing them talking about you and your exciting storytelling! I have had many demonstrations of actions and sound effects!
Thank you so much once again

Hello Damian, Just wanted to say thank you very much for coming to visit us at John Shelton.
My class, Year 2, loved the session with you in the hall. They thought you were fantastic and wished you could come everyday!
We thought you had amazing energy and the kids enjoyed your stories.
Thanks for doing a great job!
We have invited Damian Harvey along to Conwy Libraries several times and every time he has delivered very funny, interactive sessions inviting the children to dress up as some of the characters during the session. When he last came to celebrate Children’s Bookweek 2012 the children were totally transfixed and it was great to hear so much giggling coming from the audience and seeing the children so relaxed. From turning a child into a pirate, complete with sword and parrot to throwing a spider into the audience which thankfully turned out not to be real, it was one laugh after another. We look forward to welcoming him to Conwy again soon.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the inspiring workshops that you presented to the children at Unicorn. A fun time was had by all and I know that we will be very happy to recommend you to other schools within Bromley. I hope that the day was worthwhile for you and we look forward to inviting you back in the near future.
Thank you once again and keep up the great work!

During the last two years Damian Harvey has supported our 'Reading Detectives' mentor initiative in Denbighshire. He has made an annual visit during the spring term meeting with our 60 (reluctant readers) boys from Yr 6 and Yr 9. Both sessions have been a huge success promoting reading for enjoyment and introducing the boys to a range of Damian's books and poems.
The teachers and the pupils have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions as they have been perfectly pitched with a good balance of pupil interaction and fun, enthusing the whole audience! Teachers especially felt Damian had made a positive impact as a male author/reading role model to these boys. We will most definitely be booking Damian again for future events.
