Reception/Early Years
The Little Lost Kitten or The Guinea-Pig Party
A fun story-building event based on my Barrington Stoke early readers. This event lasts about half an hour, but I can also bring a craft related to the stories.
Years 1, 2 and 3
Animal Stories - children always want to know if I've owned all of the different kittens and puppies in this series. An event with photos and readings about the stories and real animals that inspired the Animal Stories series.
Museum Kittens - hear about the real-life museum cats and how they inspired this series. I can also run a writing workshop where the children come up with their own personal museum.
Years 3 and 4
Wildlife Stories and Winter Wildlife Stories
The fascinating wild animals that inspired the books - including an orphaned tiger cub, some cheeky bears and a very unusual penguin!
Years 5 and 6
A Girl's Guide to Spying - this is my newest book for older children, a spy murder mystery based on the real Girl Guides who worked at MI5 during the First World War. Test your memory with a Guide training game, and practise sending your own messages in cipher!
