Published online stories: The Goat That Vanished and What the Orange Seller Saw!
The Children have loved exploring your books this week and loved your storytelling this morning. It is great for the Year 2s to see an adult editing and changing their writing. It has been brilliant!
-Busbridge Infant School
Ifeoma was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and happy to share all her stories and poems with our children. Ifeoma was positive and friendly and the pupils enjoyed asking questions. Ifeoma’s wide cultural experience helped her connect with pupils. Having Ifeoma in school helped us celebrate National Poetry Day and made the day feel special.
-St Cedd’s School
The children found the workshops very inspiring and thoroughly enjoyed them. It was pitched at the right level and they encouraged the children to use their imagination.. The children learnt about how they can use illustration to tell a story and thoroughly enjoyed making up their own stories. Teachers (now) have ideas about how to inspire young authors through the use of illustration.

Just wanted to say thank you for yesterday. The children really enjoyed meeting you and listening to your lovely stories. We had some great drawings of animals which the children really enjoyed doing...
Great! Very relevant for Reception and Nursery. Children were engaged and focussed, developing their listening skills.
Lovely presentation and inspiring for young authors.I prticularly liked the visuals showing your note-taking!
Fabulous! You have a gift with children.Such a gifted storyteller. Great energy.
Our heartfelt thanks for the work you do. When I first looked at your website and heard you speak about your work, I said to my Head teacher this is the author I want to work with our children.
I was drawn to your warmth , your sincerity and the sensitivity with which you tell stories about the people of Africa.
This rings through in the photographs which accompany the text. Your stories are a delight. Now that we have met and worked with you, we are immensely grateful for the work you do . Our children were inspired and enthralled.

THANK YOU so much for your wonderful presentation to all of our students!!
Words cannot even begin to describe how truly grateful I am for all of your hard work and patience in putting this together. As you could tell, we are a brand new school and the students are still getting used to everyday routines and practices. This includes sitting still and listening for more than five seconds! But I can tell you that the students were so excited to meet Ifeoma and have not stopped talking about it. The next day they asked me where Ifeoma was and why she wasn't going to be visiting our school every day. They have been playing Ifeoma's game and are continuing to read her stories during their free periods. As I said before, they are a young group and we are still a work in progress, but you inspired the students and helped them better understand that there are real people and real connections behind the stories they are reading.
Thank you again for everything. We cannot say it enough.
