An hour’s session includes the following:
1. Slide show and talk to communicate childhood dream to become a writer and the difficulty of and the journey to becoming a full time author.
2. Reading from a chapter.
3. Short discussion points on the book’s key themes of family, death, community and art.
4. Question and Answer session.
Book signing for pupils.

Preferred age range:The themes of both YA books means the audience can be anything from year 7-11. Have also worked with college and university students.
Maximum number in any one session:
Up to 30 us fine. Don’t mind any particular number for talk. Have done 700 for Hay Festivals once.
No of sessions per day:
Flexible. Don’t mind if they’ve booked me for the day.
Session Length:
Usually 45 mins to an hour for a talk and workshops to fit in during class time. Again, very flexible based on school needs.
Areas prepared to travel to:
Happy to go anywhere If overnight expenses are met. I will be based in London so that’s easiest but happy to travel.
