I provide an interactive presentation for school assemblies and also creative writing workshops for 7-11 year olds.
As a former specialist children's bookseller of ten years, I am hugely passionate about encouraging a love of reading in children. During my visits I share the unlikely story of how I became an author, and take students on a voyage through the mysterious world of my books. I offer two types of events: an interactive presentation designed for school assemblies, and a smaller creative writing workshop aimed at helping students unlock their imaginations. More detail about the workshops is available on request. Both presentations and workshops are suitable for ages 7 – 11.

No of sessions per day:
I am happy to offer three sessions per day, depending on the school’s requirements. I prefer that students attending my creative writing workshops have already seen my presentation in the morning.
Session Length:
Presentation: 45mins – 1 hour.
Workshop: 45 mins.
Areas prepared to travel to:
I am based in London but I can travel to all areas.
Events with a plus 2 hour travel time and early start will require overnight expenses.
