As I have publications for all age groups I can do sessions for groups from Year 1 to Sixth Form.
3 x 1 hour. Will consider variations, e.g. several half-hour sessions, especially if Key Stage 1 classes are included.
Usually 1 hour, including questions and answers.
Time for signing books can be in addition to the three sessions I offer.
I live in Oxfordshire but will travel anywhere if travelling and overnight expenses are met – I enjoy travelling.
Anywhere - I enjoy visiting international schools and festivals.
Train from Banbury, Oxfordshire, or by car, charged at 40p per mile.

A testimonial from the Arvon Foundation:
"Linda Newbery has proved herself to be an excellent communicator with the groups she has taught at Arvon. As important as her skills in working with children, is the nature of the books she writes for them. Children really engage with Linda's work and we have found introducing Linda's work to the children before the course begins adds an immeasurable dimension to her workshops and individual tutorials. Children want to listen to her. Linda's books deal with wonderful themes and ideas for children."
A testimonial from Northamptonshire Libraries and Information Service: "Linda has a reputation for being both flexible and adaptable, tailoring her delivery with careful consideration for the age and ability ranges and educational focus of the organised event. Over the years she has also worked closely with school librarians and teachers in schools throughout our county as a popular guest author for bookweeks and author events engaging with students in writing workshops and discussion forums from Y3 up to Y12/13."
