“I have no hesitation in providing a glowing testimonial for Liz Flanagan. Her events are filled with an eloquence and an enthusiasm that is infectious. She has an innate ability to capture the imaginations and create intrigue among young readers developing an excellent rapport and providing a full and inspiring account of her creative processes. Liz is a hugely exciting new talent and is talented in stimulating and motivating young people to read.” - Jake Hope, Reading Development and Children’s Book Consultant
“I would recommend Liz’s approach, attitude and demeanour to anyone wanting to promote literature with young (and old) people. She was able to take her technical skill and creativity to craft a bespoke story to use as part of the session. This was further aided by Liz’s manner which wove the magic of the story tighter together, creating spell binding sessions.” - Grant Lowe, National Trust
“Liz had the young people utterly engaged by both her reading from her recent YA novel Eden Summer, and subsequent talk about her life as a writer and Q & A session. She had an extremely good manner with the group and there was an easy, natural rapport between her and the young people asking questions about writing, which had threaded through it her own genuine and infectious love of reading. I can thoroughly recommend Liz as a reader for schools.” - Anna Taylor, Arvon
