Workshops:
• SHOW, DON'T TELL - an hour long workshop for children of all ages and abilities demonstrating how to bring their writing alive through vivid description.
• SCI-FI WRITING WORKSHOP - a day-long workshop in which I explain five of the main types of science fiction story and show children how to generate imaginative ideas for stories of their own. Available in versions for children with advanced or less-advanced writing skills.
• Both come with morning assembly and post-school book signing.
7- 10 year olds
4 x 1 hour workshops plus a talk at morning assembly & post-school signing
1 x day long "Sci-Fi Writing" session
45-60 minutes per "Show, Don't Tell" session
Full day for "Sci-Fi Writing" session
Generally prepared to travel to anywhere in the UK reasonably accessible by train from Manchester, timings allowing.
Anywhere I can reasonably reach by public transport.
