Drawing Together
Dreaming the Bear (February 2016)
Having Mimi Thebo visit our schools was such a perfect way to launch Book Week. The children were fascinated as she shared her life as an author and they listened attentively as she began reading her book, Drawing Together.
It was so lovely when the children went out to play and started ‘drawing together’ with chalk on the school playground! Furthermore, Mimi’s visit inspired the children to write their own stories.
Perfect!
Just a quick note to say that the children absolutely loved having Mimi and listening to her talk about her books. The children were in awe and asked LOADS of great questions, it was lovely!
Thank you for organising it, it was fab. I'm now thinking of a career change ...I love the idea of walking down to the bottom of my garden in my dressing gown to my shed with a hot cuppa tea, my laptop and my blankie!!
