Rob impressed us enormously with his energy and enthusiasm. But the best testimonial comes from one of these lads who shouted out across the playground as Rob was leaving, "Bye, Sir; You were AWESOME!"
Gill Ward, Fortismere School
Rob was thoroughly entertaining, and engaged the children (plus Teachers and Library staff!) with his talks - storytelling at its best.
Sean Edwards – Haringey Libraries
Rob was brilliant, both staff and students had nothing but good things to say about him and his presentation. He was super accommodating and very flexible.
Karen Astill, Head Librarian
The Harrow School, Beijing
Rob’s account of what inspired him to become a writer, interwoven with hilarious examples from history and his childhood, proved hugely popular.
Sarah Henshaw
Paget High School, Burton-on-Trent
It was great to see some of our more reluctant students’ genuine interest in why stories matter and how it is never too late to become a reader. Rob followed his presentation up with four hilarious and inspiring creative writing workshops.
Kate Kelly
Director of Learning, British School of Barcelona
The positive feedback from the students began with words such as ‘awesome’. Rob built quick connections with the students by sharing about his own childhood, inspiring a new generation of authors to pick up a pen.
Clare Cannon, Assistant Head of Primary
The British School of Beijing
"Rob kept a large group of children engaged with great stories about hidden treasure, Egyptian tombs, story telling and inspiration. Suddenly writing was something we could all do - it felt accessible and exciting. I cannot recommend him enough.
