“Steve came to our school to deliver a relatable talk about reading for pleasure and his experiences working in the literary industry. With buckets of enthusiasm, he went above and beyond to really capture the children’s attention and keep them engaged. You could see the real joy in their faces as they listened to Steve’s funny anecdotes and interacted with his verbal activities. Steve's visit has really boosted the student’s sense of reading for pleasure – I know our Y7s will be talking about him and his books for a long time now!”
Charlotte Lever, Laurus Ryecroft School
"Steve Cole’s events positively fizz, hum and spark with energy, ideas and fun. I defy any child not to want to pick up a book after an hour in his company.”
Kirsten Grant, Director, World Book Day, Mar 2016
“My year 3 children were absolutely buzzing - claiming it was the best assembly ever!
You are very inspirational… you do actually change children views about writing and reading - for the better!”
Ferlin Thomas, John Hampden Primary School, Mar 2016
“Many thanks - Just writing those two words hardly seems sufficient for the session you delivered today. The children (and the adults) were absolutely buzzing!!”
