For Years 1 & 2 - Readings from The Best Eid Ever and Under the Great Plum Tree along with an activity of learning to draw henna patterns.
For KS3 pupils - A Talk on Spies and Suffragettes which covers four books:
Noor-Un-Nissa Inayat Khan - the story of the WWII heroine and Winston Churchill’s spy who was sent to Nazi occupied France to transmit secret information back to London.
Princess Sophia Duleep Singh is the story of Queen Victoria’s god-daughter and suffragette.
Rosie Raja: Churchill’s Spy
Rosie Raja: Mission To Cairo
Historical fiction about an 11 year of British Indian girl who becomes one of Churchill’s spies in WWII.
Primary and secondary up to 6th form
Can deliver a maximum of 4 sessions per day.
Entire session is 45 minutes, plus 10-15 minutes for book signing.
Sufiya lives in London but is willing to travel nationally if expenses are covered.
