Paul Fletcher from Dulwich College: "The pupils enjoyed Taran's presentation and really engaged with his writing workshop using his ideas as inspiration to conceive their own imaginary worlds."
Risedale: “Taran (author) came to our school on Monday this week and his visit was a huge success. He inspired our pupils, some of whom went straight home and started writing on Wattpad.”
Tracy Walker from Deptford Green School: "It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Taran who is an outstanding author of young people’s fiction. His books have been so well received in our school and the third part of his trilogy is eagerly awaited and asked for consistently. His fantastic stories have created a complete buzz amongst our readers!
Taran came to our school to deliver workshops on creative writing with a particular focus on ‘mind-mapping’ ideas for bringing a story together and it was really inspirational. 106 of our pupils attended the workshops and the feedback was really positive and we hope to have him come back again during this school year. We have ‘adopted’ him as our school author and he holds a special place in our hearts. He very kindly came to our prize giving event at the end of last year and delivered a speech on using things that happen to us as learning tools to better ourselves and make us more successful. Again the feedback was fantastic and the audience were gripped. Thank you Taran for all you have done for our school."
