Shadow of the Wolf is my debut novel. It is the beginning of a trilogy, entitled Sherwood’s Doom. I am currently writing the second book, provisionally titled Winter’s Teeth.
Tim gave presentations to Y8 and Y10, in which he de-mystified the process of becoming an author, really encouraging all the boys to believe in their ability to write and giving useful hints and tips on how to start. The imagery in the power point presentation was exciting, perfectly aimed at the audience; several boys commented that they felt the images used told a story in itself.
Overall, Tim was insightful and engaging, following his presentations with successful workshops. The Head of Department has now set the year 10's an extended project for next week on 'myths and legends' so it will be very interesting to see how he will have influenced them!

'We were delighted that you could be our 'author of honour' at our Libraries and Learning Celebration Event in October.
The event was organised as a way of saying thank you to the young people that had volunteered in libraries during the summer to support the Summer Reading Challenge.
We put together a variety of entertainment, including a film premier and live music, so to have you there to inspire them to read and write was brilliant.
I felt that you pitched your talk well, it engaged them for the entire time and also encouraged them to ask questions, although reluctantly at first.
Many of them purchased your book and got it signed. I guess that it was the first time that some of them had had the opportunity to meet an author, so we really must thank you for coming and also for the way that you interacted with them and put them at ease. I know that several of them are looking forward to reading your next book.
From my perspective as event organiser, it was a pleasure to work with you. You were extremely communicative, easy going and turned up on time. We would love to work with you again soon.
