Author Tours

Authors Aloud UK organise a range of promotional tours for debut, new and leading children’s authors and illustrators on behalf of their publishers e.g. Cathy Cassidy, Robin Stevens, Michael Grant, Jonathan Stroud, Jeremy Strong

These range across the age spectrum from nursery through to young adult. There are no costs to the schools or libraries for the visit but each tour has its own criteria, which has been set by the publisher, that host schools will need to meet. These will include:

• Audience size
• Audience age range
• Multiple schools attending
• Good book sales
• Geographical area for the tour
