Polly Owen is the author of Darwin’s Super-Pooping Worm Spectacular, a non-fiction picture book perfect for children of 5+. In her online sessions Polly will talk about the process of writing, from having ideas and revising them through to having a book illustrated and published. Her aim is to empower and inspire all students to write about their passions and interests and use writing as a means of sharing information with others.

In my online sessions, I’ll be talking about the process of writing, from having ideas and revising them through to the process of having a book illustrated and published. The aim is to empower and inspire all students to write, not just creative stories, but also about their passions and interests and using writing as a way to collate and share information with others.
I also hope to elevate the humble worm with its super-pooping ability and support environmental message, as well as celebrating scientific methods and the wonderful historical figure, Charles Darwin.
